Corduroy is both the name of one of my favourite children's books AND my favourite Pearl Jam song, so when I saw this navy corduroy, I knew exactly what to do with it. And, like they say, frankly, the waiting (to get it to you) basically did drive me mad.
Named after the second name of my lovely friend and Boomette Sara, CORNELIA is always perky, practical and makes you smile. She is absolutely inspired by Amy Poheler's overalls in Making It, the most delightful television programme to ever exist.
Of course the pinafore is 100% cotton, and has pockets that we deepened to make sure they hold a large cellphone safely. The straps are adjustable and you can wear them crossed over or straight up your back - your call. The back half of the dress is elasticated.
For the CORNELIA 1.5 we have added slides on the straps to keep them from flapping, and the top of the pinafore is 10cm narrower than the CORNELIA that debuted in season two.
Also, this CORNELIA would look real good over a House of Boom t-shirt!
The fabric is a cotton corduroy.
