Y'all keep asking me for black clothes, and I keep wondering if you even know me. But then I found this linen and decided it was too gorgeous to not offer up. The black is counter-balanced with this pastel floral print, and as it turns out seeing the full fabric rather than just the sample, some of the flowers are distinctly Georgia O'Keefe-esque - and I love that about it.
When I decided to design my idea of a perfect skirt, it had to be in cotton - or in linen in this case - with pockets, of course. It had to come in bright colours. It had to be long enough that I didn't need to worry about showing off my undies in a gust of that notorious Wellington wind. When I tried on the sample, I liked it so much I decided to name it after me (Tiare is my middle name). It has an elastic waistband and a zip at the back too.
For season five, the TIARE skirt is back to proper sizing, so if you have a TIARE skirt from an earlier collection, please buy one size larger than what you already own. As always though, please make sure you check the measurements and please feel free to get in contact if you have any questions.
Shorties - these skirts are cut long on purpose, in order for them to accommodate as many people as possible BUT they are also very deliberately made with very simple bottoms so they can be easily hemmed. Or you can choose to wear the skirt long if you prefer it.
